Job Description:
As a Microsoft data centre inventory and asset technician you will perform
cycle audits execute incoming and outgoing delivery, co-ordinate security
escorts for third party vendors and document in bond and outbound delivery
size instructed by management. You will initiate warranty clams and process
returns on field equipments.
- Ability to meet Microsoft Customer and government securities screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialised securities screenings.
- Microsoft cloud background check: this position will be required to pasta Microsoft cloud background check up on transfer and every 2 years.
Responsibilities:
- Perform assigned ask send escalate issues during high volume work activity or escalation based situations under the guidance of more experienced data centre colleagues.
- Developer working knowledge of stock control and inventory management practices and procedures
- Ensure accurate documentation of incoming and outgoing delivery as well as records
- Perform cycle audits and data corrections to ensure all inventory controls are met
- Help to reconcil and report inventory discripenses
